BAY AREA CARNIVOROUS PLANT SOCIETY

Bay Area Carnivorous Plant Society

One of the largest carnivorous plant societies in the world will host a display in Sproutopia. Children can learn how plants "eat" (regular feedings are scheduled throughout the day), why the plants adapted to eat as they do, and how to care for their own "pet" carnivorous plant at home!

 Some Attractions:

 • See regular plant "feedings"
 • Examine giant carnivorous plants
 • Pot up a meat-eating plant to take home, and learn how to care for it.
 • Work on carnivorous plant coloring pages
 • Enjoy award-winning science fair projects
