Recycle that tree!

Don't throw your Christmas tree into your yard waste bin! Instead, turn your tree into valuable wildlife habitat.  Use a handsaw to remove the branches. Then, make a pile of the branches in an inconspicuous area of your yard. This brush pile will provide shelter to beneficial insects and birds. Plus, by recycling the tree, you reduce your contribution to the waste stream.
