The Living Room

As we look forward to the future of garden design we are encouraged to think outside the box, here we think 'around' the box. This design takes two simple contrasts: wet/dry circle/square and integrates them into a cohesive garden. A giant cube of succulents floats on a circle of water. This 'living room' is accessed by walking across the water, further heightening the magic of this new wave of garden folly. The interior of the room reflects modern and organic sensibilities, creating an effect that is at once comforting yet altogether fresh.
