The Flower & Garden Show – a feast of delights for anyone who loves flowers, plants and design, and just being green. Don’t miss:

Victory Garden & Scultpure Gardens

The show has expanded this year-both in size and beauty!  For the first time ever, the Show presents a rendition of the Victory Gardens across America.  Under a 10,000 sqft tent, enjoy our Victory Gardens while eating lunch.  Our gardens and exhibitors are even going a step further and supplying their products to the Food Vendors this year for use in preparing your food at the Show!  Also, see amazing outdoor sculture and art that is being donated by top designers and enthusiasts throughout the Bay Area -- all of this can be seen just outside of Fiesta Hall near the Seminar rooms.

The Container Garden Display & Pocket Parks

Running out of space?  Don’t care to garden too much?  Gets some hints on how to create beauty in a small space from expert designers.  Learn how to grow trees, vegetables, succulents, Mediterranean and native plants in unusual and artful containers.  Visit our Container Garden page to learn more. Sproutopia

Gardens for the Future

This is our 2010 theme, but we are also profiling some of the most amazing new technologies in garden design and application in the world!  Come and be amazed by 25 foot tall conical garden walls, Sun-powered eco-systems and other advances in gardening technology.

Hot Plant Picks

The Western Horticultural Society once again picks out some glorious new plants that have just appeared in the San Francisco trade. Cultivation information and experts on hand to give advice.

Bonsai

The Bonsai Society of San Francisco, the best bonsai club in the west, once again demonstrates this ancient art with lovely specimens of great age, and demonstrations for the beginner.  On the weekend, in Sproutopia, master Bonsai teacher Tim Kong will also give classes in Bonsai to young Bonsai enthusiasts and the young-at-heart.

Check the 2010 seminar schedule for over 70 fascinating talks on everything from garden design, hot plants, edible gardening and sustainability in the garden.

Flower Lane
