What are the dates and hours of the flower show?

March 24-28, 2010; Wednesday - Saturday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Where can I purchase flower show tickets and how much are they?

Advance Tickets may be purchased at your local nursery, online or over the phone. You can now also print your tickets at home.  Visit our Tickets page for more information.

What is the best way to get to the flower show?

Are there hotels near the flower show and do they offer special show rates?

The San Francisco Flower Show has arranged special rates – ranging from $89 to $105 a night – with several of San Mateo ’s finest hotels. And many of these rates include discounts on meals. The hotels are close to the San Mateo Event Center where the Flower Show is held. For more information go to our Hotels page.

Can I go in and out of the show during the day?

Yes, just remember to get your ticket validated at the show exit.  NEW! You can come back all five days of the show with a purchase of an adult or early bird ticket.  Don't forget to VALIDATE your ticket so you can come back again.

Do flower show tickets allow multiple entries over a few days?

The Early Bird Adult and General Adult tickets allow you entry into all five days of the show. Visit our Tickets page to purchase your ticket now. Youth tickets are only valid one day.  Again, don't forget to VALIDATE your tickets so you can come back again and again!

Is photography allowed (still and video)?

In the garden and other main flower show exhibit areas, both still and video photography is encouraged. No photographs are allowed durring the seminars.

What is the most comfortable time to attend the flower show?

The most comfortable times to see the show are weekdays and from mid-afternoon on every day. Half-day tickets, good after 3 p.m. Wed-Sat (2 p.m. on Sunday), are available at a discount. Visit our Tickets page to find out more.

Are strollers allowed at the flower show?

Strollers are allowed.  A child backpack can also useful.

What dining options are there at the flower show?

The San Mateo Event Center operates several food options at the show.  This year there will be more food options than ever.

Is the San Mateo Event Center accessible to disabled persons? Are there wheelchairs available? Where is parking for disabled persons?

The San Mateo Event Center in California is accessible to disabled persons with parking available in the main lot (the parking attendants will direct you). The event center does not have wheelchairs available, so if you need one you should bring your own. Keep in mind that it can be difficult to navigate through the show during peak hours, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and on the weekend days.

Is there a place to leave plants and other purchases during the day? How can I get large items to my car?

Yes! There are free package check locations, one each in Fiesta and Expo Halls.

Are advance reservations or tickets available for the flower show seminars?

Seminar seating is strictly on a first-come first-served basis. Many do fill quickly, so be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes early for popular speakers. Be sure to check out the complete Seminar schedule and plan ahead!

What is the parking fee?

Ample flower show parking is available at the San Mateo Event Center, CA. Parking prices are $12 per day for a car, $30 per day for a bus.
