FROM 101 SOUTH

You have two options depending on traffic patterns:

Option 1
Take the HILLSDALE BLVD. exit, EXIT 414A, WEST ramp toward SAN MATEO.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto FRANKLIN PKWY.
Turn RIGHT onto SARATOGA DR.
Turn LEFT onto EVENT CENTER, entrance to the parking lot for SMEC.

Option 2
Merge onto CA-92 W via EXIT 414B toward HALF MOON BAY.
Exit DELAWARE ST., EXIT 12C.
Bear RIGHT on CONCAR DR.
RIGHT on DELAWARE ST.
LEFT on SARATOGA DR.
Turn RIGHT onto EVENT CENTER, entrance to the parking lot for SMEC.

From El Camino North
Go SOUTH on ELCAMINO REAL
Turn LEFT on E 25th AVE.

FROM EL CAMINO SOUTH

Go NORTH on ELCAMINO REAL

PARKING

The San Mateo Event Center offers plenty of secure parking. Parking rates are $10 per day for a car, $20 per day for a bus. Yes!  We can accommodate your over-size vehicle or tour bus. There are plenty of staff ready to help you park when you arrive.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

Find Your Route

To plan the best route from where you live in the Bay Area, including the time it will take to get there, use Transit.511.org, with 2495 South Delaware Street, San Mateo, CA 94403 as your destination address. You may also call Transit.511 by dialing 511 on your phone.

SHUTTLE

The Show operates a free shuttle service between the Hillsdale Caltrain Station and the SMEC. This service runs approx. every 15 minutes. One of the shuttles will be wheelchair-accessible.

CALTRAIN

Closest stop to the SMEC is the Hillsdale Caltrain Station, from which the Show operates a free shuttle to the Show.

BART

The Millbrae BART/Caltrain is the closest BART station. You may transfer there from BART to Caltrain (see above), or you have the option of taking one of two bus lines (391 or 390) that run every 15 minutes from the Millbrae station to El Camino Real and East 25th Ave. The SMEC is a two-block walk east down East 25th Ave., to where 25th ends at Delaware.

-391’s full route runs from Daly City to Redwood City and back, and on weekends only has service to downtown San Francisco. 390’s full route runs from Daly City to Palo Alto and back.

SAMTRANS

SamTrans lines 391 and 390 stop at El Camino Real and East 25th Ave. The SMEC is a two-block walk east down East 25th Ave., to where 25th ends at Delaware. SamTrans 391’s full route runs from Daly City to Redwood City and back, and on weekends only has service to downtown San Francisco. SamTrans 390’s full route runs from Daly City to Palo Alto and back:

SamTrans line 292 runs from downtown San Francisco (Mission & 1st) all the way to stop near the SMEC (Pacific & Delaware):

SAN MATEO CAB

Call the friendly folks at San Mateo Cab at 650.340.0126 and they'll send a taxi to pick you up at the San Mateo Event Center when you're ready to leave.

FLYING IN

As the official airline of the Flower & Garden Show, Alaska Airlines can whisk you to San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose from points all along the West Coast as well as from point east. Call 800.ALASKAAIR (800.252.7522) or visit Alaskaair.com for schedule and reservations. SFO, the main San Francisco airport, is only 8 miles north of the San Mateo Event Center.
