ABOUT US

THE SAN FRANCISCO FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW

The San Francisco Flower & Garden Show has a rich 27-year history and has received many international accolades in that time. The Show is one of the largest of its kind in the United States and is dedicated to demonstrating best practices in gardening as well as outdoor design and living.

In 2013, the Show theme will be "Gardens Make the World Go Round." The display gardens will demonstrate gardening styles and plants from all over the world as well as best practices in conservation and green design. There's something for everyone - gardens, green living, creative food practices, art and entertainment.

This Show would not be possible without the generous donations of time and money by many organizations. Our success is directly tied to the efforts of countless volunteers and community enthusiasts who give the show its flair and personality, making it one of the best in the United States.

Lynette Stavros - Show Producer

Lynette is our Show Producer and Exhibits Manager. She has visited the Flower Show regularly since its early days at Fort Mason, and she enjoys helping all our vendors have a successful - and profitable - experience.

She has worked on home and garden shows throughout California, as well as a variety of other consumer-oriented shows and events. Unlike Kay, she has met several plants she doesn’t like, including the neighbor’s ivy. She gardens around the edge of an under-utilized swimming pool in San Jose.

Kay Hamilton Estey - Emeritus Producer, Marketing Manager and Seminar Manager

After producing the last eight Shows, and then filling the role of Seminar and Marketing Manager for two years, Kay has retired leaving the Show in Lynette's capable hands. Kay started in the business as a garden designer, and even designed and built a garden in the San Francisco Show in 2002. She used her business background and knowledge of the green industry to work with landscape professionals, plant people, artists, students - in fact, anyone connected in any way with plants and beauty - to help create a gorgeous shows. Kay is a member of too many horticultural organizations to list, and has never met a plant she didn't like. She loves to read, draw, write, and travel. She gardens on a small plot of land behind her San Francisco home, trying to bring order to an unruly collection of plants, cats, raccoons, possums and squirrels.
